Gumax 3.0 works well with percent widths – see http://www.ehartwell.com/InfoDabble/MediaWiki:InfoDabble.css. The key changes are:

body {width:100%; min-width:680px; max-width:none}

#container {width:90%; min-width:680px; max-width:990px}

#mainContent { padding-left:5%; padding-right:5%;}

I was wondering how difficult it would be to alter the skin a little to use more of the screen. This skins work well most of the time for us, but today I needed to create a fairly wide table (basically landscape) and found that I was wasting a little too much of the screen. Would it be very difficult to have a higher percentage of the screen used (width)?

I want to clarify here, hiding title is nothing to do with my skin, and this is one of the feature of MediaWiki. This is not an issue that we are trying to solve.

I still have some code to be completed; I’m also need to add “Printable Version” to it. The last thing is I need to test it under MediaWiki 1.10. After those, it will be ready for downloading.

It might be a little bit delay, since I got a few other projects to do at the same time. The new skin should be available soon.
