In Windows, you might want the NumLock to be turned on after Windows start. Here is the quick registry fix for this. Create a file file named numlock.reg with follow content: Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Control Panel\Keyboard] “InitialKeyboardIndicators”=”2″ Double click on the file to import the setting.

run -> gpedit.msc -> user Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> Desktop -> remove Recycle Bin icon from desktop (double click) -> Enabled

I found this handy little tip today when I had to send CTRL+ALT+DELETE to a remote desktop session (which always ends up being processed by the local machine and not the remote one). The keystroke is CTRL+ALT+END. Handy to know and remember!
