Your information is sadly about of date, and furthermore it was never true, especially the Danforth and Queen/Bathurst parts. It’s laughable.
There’s not a single area in Toronto where I would not walk, day or night. Not one. Of course, one uses common sense and doesn’t walk down dark alleyways. But ANY main street in ANY neighbourhood in Toronto is safe 24/7/365.
